My wonderful experience in Majnu ka Tila, Delhi.

Today’s topic –

Majnu ka Tila, Delhi – one of the greatest place of Delhi.

I spent my 9 yrs in Gurgaon, but hardly I visited all happening places of Delhi.
After shifting to delhi, in last 7 months I have explored lots of amazing places which someone can choose to hangout with their loved ones.
My Today’s Blog is to share my wonderful experience in ” Majnu ka Tila , Delhi”.
But before I start, i must show my gratitude to my friend DJ Chetan Gulati because without my him i won’t be able to experience these wonderful places. By profession he is a DJ but being a delhite he can guide someone with the best options starting from street food to resturants. So the whole credit of this amazing experience and the blog goes to him.

“Majnu ka Tila” which is also called Mini Tibet & located in northern part of Delhi.
This is a small Tibet colony but someone can experience Tibetan culture, jewellery , shops of artefacts, clothing , accessories, Resturant and many more.

Culture -:

Once you will enter the place , you will witness a beautiful Tibetan Monastery at the center point of the colony, monks and of ofcourse Tibetan prayer Bells.

Shops of artefacts, Books, Tibetan jewellery and antique shops enhance the culture & ambience to justify that place.

It’s a shopping hub which includes clothing, shoes and other accessories. The thing i love the most about the polite behaviour of people who own those small or big stalls, shops and While bargain you can feel that humbleness, innocence and also enthusiasm in those people which i really miss in other shopping hubs of Delhi. The amount you will spend on shopping justify the value & quality of Products .

Resturants and cuisine -:

Being a foodie, i love to explore different cuisines and this is one of the best place to explore authentic Tibetan street food along with many resturants having options of Korean, Thai and other continental cuisines.
Don’t forget to enjoy Tibetan street-food called ” La-phing” though I explored this dish when I visited for the second time. La-phing, it’s one of the authentic local Tibetan dish and if you are spicy food lover then you must try this one.

The first resturant i had explored in Majnu ka Tila was “AMA CAFÉ”. It was suggested by my friend and also before my visit, i did a small research. And after visiting to this resturants, i was amazed by the ambience of this place and of course the delicious food. It’s a multi cuisine restaurant, starting from English breakfast to Thai cuisine. Whether you visit this place in weekdays or weekends, you will get the waiting time for minimum 30mins to 1hrs because of the crowd. I really loved this place & I can visit AMA CAFÉ as many times I can & i will never get bored.

The second restaurant i had explored was “signature café”. This place is known for beautiful hanging lights, Riverside View and Mouth watering Dimsum, Sushi and pasta. For the first time i tried prawn sushi and lt was Delicious. As it’s a rooftop cafe and you are planning to visit in the Evening then you will experience the scenic beauty.

The third resturant, i had explored was “kham Coffee House “. Though it’s a small cafe but they have decorated it beautifully. I had wonderful experience with the Coffee i had & Egg Thukpa, i tried for the first time.

I am Yet to explore the other options and will keep you posted with another part of this blog. No doubt this place Majnu ka Tila is worth spending your day with your dear ones , you can enjoy the shopping , grab a cup of coffee with long conversation or you can plan for lunch or dinner with them.

Do share your experiences with me or any suggestions to explore…
